Groundwork Music Project Ukulele Ensemble Classes for kids eight and older
Lee Elementary

Groundwork Music loves providing ensemble ukulele lessons at Lee Elementary! This is our sixth year at the campus. These lessons are a lot of fun, and they’re a great way to get started on instrument learning. We often hear back from families with former students that the programs we provided were a great help when they continued their musical endeavors in middle school and beyond.

Lessons include ukulele play, singing, note reading, and lots of fun songs that kids love to play.

Our JHUI-certified teachers (James Hill Ukulele Initiative) have a depth of teaching knowledge and musical knowledge that helps children to develop both skill and a love of musical activity.

In addition to lessons. Students have opportunities throughout the semester to join our teachers on various stages for events, where professional musicians and students play together. Look for information on our big Spring Concert at Central Market, as well as monthly play-along events at Cherrywood Coffee House (Sundays).
